Ryan and Jen from The Transmission are in San Diego at the Comic Con and they were able to chat with one of the Dharma recruiters and another Lost fan who took the test. Here's the segment of the podcast where they discuss Octagon Global Recruiting:

Great stuff!! I feel so bad not being there lol..
INTERESTING :D
It looks like we can do exactly the same thing at Dharmawantsyou. Maibe fase 1 can be done, and (obviously) fase 2.
This is so cool - I wish I could be there :)
This is cool - sounds like we can all see the same types of tests online on the 28th. This will be good as we can then nail down those clues like the Latin and possibly the Europa thing! I mean its hard for individual fans with no warning to be able to decrypt all their clues.
Hey Nick!
Yep it's good that they are letting people who can't get there to play along as well.
@Nick: just what I was thinking :)
By the way, EUROPA is the Dutch word for EUROPE.
Not so far fetched, but I thought, with the whole Hans van Eeghen thing, since he is also probably Dutch, it was worth noticing.
Good spot Anne
Well the Europa story is interesting. I mean she was abducted/seduced by Zeus and taken to AN ISLAND (well, Crete). Her parents never found her, though her brother searched, failed, and built the city of Thebes so he didn't have to go back to tell his dad the King of I wanna say Phlotecian? I can't remember it fully - I do love tales of mythology though, hence the little bit of knowledge.
The fan interviewed also said something about an old Biblical style painting - its possible it was one of Europa, of which there are a few paintings of the story done around the Renaissance period.
it looks a little like the chamber in the orchid
@Nick: nice! I was just thinking about Europe as a continent but now I wiki'd it and true, it's a mythical character! (related to the continent europe, but still).
the myth thing is a good theory as it also links into Greek mythology on Lost, and more specifically The Lost Experience. Persephone anyone?
maybe i didnt hear it properly, my speakers are playing up, so i'll apologize in advance, but what is giving us the impression that everyone will be able to participate on the 28th ?? didnt the interview say people with the cards will be able to enter there codes to progress ?
I doubt they would let people that couldn't go to Comic Con wait to participate.. :o
They handed out flyers saying anyone can participate online from the 28th. I'd assume you take the test online and then will be given/emailed an ID code which will work exactly the same as the real cards Comic-Con visitors obtained.
They just have a sweeter deal in terms of the experience and a swanky piece of memorabilia.
ahh ok thanks nick i was starting to get abit confused lol hopefully it turns out good
I hope that someone turns on there bluetooth so that they can receive the info that RuckusGuy promissed us.
Good point omega!
Europa is also the Spanish and Italian for Europe. I guess they are using that word to draw our attention to the myth. Europa stayed in Crete and Zeus gave her a Talos: some kind of bronze robot. Its task was to go around the island three times a day and stop foreigners to come in and not allowed inhabitants to go out.
Regards from Spain :)
nienna - interesting! Good comparison to the Monster in Talos.
He said there 7 words to choose from, maybe we'll find out what some of the other words were. Can I just say I am so jealous right now, comic con in general just seems like a blast but this whole dharma thing is wild.
More info will be up soon.. Another day at Comic Con, and more people who pay full attention hopefully, can tell us the exact details :D
Although I can imagina someone being disoriented after such an experiment lol.
And to think I thought Europa was that awful 80's hair-band! :-P
Am I the only one thinking Europa, the smallest Galillean moon of Jupiter? Remember the mobile over Aaron's bed? Earth, Saturn, Jupiter, Triton, Titan, Calisto, etc.--and an undiscovered blue moon/planet much like like the second Earthlike body in the opening of the OGR commercial? I'd been thinking along those lines long before, but the mobile IMHO clinched it.
Plenty of SF nods there too. Remember: "All these moons, except Europa, are yours..." from 2010?
orpheus, i read your theory on the mobile, very interesting stuff :) cool!
i was wondering today why all the Dharma workers have an Australian accent(as mentioned in the podcast)...
