Do you think the DWY 'cheat' is intentional?

With all the debate raging about the "Cheat" here is a poll as suggested by one of our readers. Thanks to Brewski for the screenshot of a successful 100% attempt.

1) Move the first piece into the square then press the space bar.
2) This will then stop the time and the screen will start to flip.
3) When the screen comes back your timer will read 100
4) You can place the shapes without the timer going down
